Assess Your Leadership Team Using the Leadership Taxonomy
The Leadership Taxonomy is more than just a list of effective leadership characteristics. You can also use the taxonomy as a tool to help you:
- assess your coalition to determine who fills which roles and which roles are missing;
- plan how to use your team's strengths to meet the challenges of implementing your campaign;
- create alliances to augment individual and institutional challenge areas; and
- develop abilities in more than one area of leadership.
This leadership assessment form will guide you through the assessment process. You may also want to engage your coalition in a discussion about the Leadership Taxonomy. Here are tips from Advocacy and Leadership Center facilitators on how to do just that.
